Jayne Adolphe, who is presently in Rome doing research for the Secretary of State of the Vatican, recently shared with the Lay Centre residential community her own journey from a prestigious position in a law firm in Canada to her career studying canon law in Rome and finally doing research with the United Nations and the Vatican.
She encouraged those lay men and women who come to study in Rome to follow the healthy desires of their heart in regard to studies, without fear of taking risks.
Jayne has served the United Nations by participating in conferences on children’s rights and the International Criminal Court. Most recently she participated as a delegate of the Holy See to the United Nations and is currently working with the Secretary of State of the Vatican. She also teaches as an associate professor of law at Ave Maria Law School in Naples, Florida.
