Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald, M.Afr, a good friend of The Lay Centre, celebrated Mass with us last Wednesday and joined us for dinner. He was Papal Nuncio in Egypt and now lives in Jerusalem, so every time he comes to visit us is a new chance to understand better the situation of Christianity and interreligious dialogue in the Middle East. He also told us about the preparations for the visit of Pope Francis to the Holy Land and shared a few thoughts about the tensions in Ukraine.
